We are looking for suitably experienced community workers to fill the role of the Aboriginal Disability Liaison Officer for a period of 24 months. The aim of this program is to support Aboriginal people in accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
This is a state-wide program, full-time or part-time positions available and can be based in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport or Burnie.
Excellent communication skills and a good knowledge and understanding of health issues within the Tasmanian Aboriginal community are essential. Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS would be an advantage.
A driver’s licence, National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration are essential.
