Family and Youth Positions

We are looking for highly motivated people to become members of our Family and Youth Team in Nipaluna/Hobart.   

The Team is responsible for preparing culturally responsive case assessments and delivering practical and emotional support to Aboriginal families and youth to develop strong, safe households. 

Tasks include case coordination, home visits, crisis management, advocacy, case notes and report writing. 

We have several roles available including case manager, mentor, in-home support workers and transport workers. 

The successful applicants will be working within a statewide integrated service environment to provide services and programs aimed at supporting and strengthening Aboriginal families, youth, and children’s culture and identity.  

Essential to the position is knowledge and appreciation of the cultural and social needs of Aboriginal people.   

Desirable to the position is relevant allied health professional degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience, background and skills. 

Full time and part time positions are available.
