11 AM – Flag raising. Public event, all are welcome.

  • South at piyura kitina/Risdon Cove, arrive by 10.30 am to ascend the hill and 11 am start.

Tuesday, 4 July

North West

  • 10 PM to 2 PM – Bingo Day in Pataway! Aboriginal community and family event. Kipli-food provided.
  • 5 PM – Trivia night! Battle it out with Launceston mob online! Supper and prizes provided. Aboriginal community and families. TAC Pataway.

North

  • 5 PM – Trivia night! Battle it out with Pataway mob online! Supper and prizes provided. Aboriginal community and families TAC Launceston.

South

  • 12.30 PM – Cultural day and activities at piyura kitina. Aboriginal community and families.
  • 5.30 PM – Trivia night at the Pyramids, piyura kitina. Aboriginal community and families. Kipli-food provided.

Wednesday, 5 July

  • 10 AM departure – On Country day trip to Narawntapu National Park and cultural activities. Aboriginal Community. Palawa kipli providing cultural lunch.

  • 5.30 PM to 7 PM – Family Disco at the Pyramids, piyura kitina. Aboriginal community and families. Kipli provided.

Thursday, 6 July

North West

  • 7 AM to 9 AM – Community breakfast.
  • 10 AM to 2 PM – Cultural activities.
  • 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM – Kids Disco! Aboriginal community and families, TAC Pataway.

North

  • 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM – Kids disco! Supper provided.

South

  • 12 PM – Palawa kipli Elders lunch, served by our young people at piyura kitina. Includes an intergenerational cultural performance!
  • 7.30 PM – Opening night for At What Cost? by Nathan Maynard at the Theatre Royal, Limited Aboriginal Community discount tickets available – call the TAC for more details.

Friday, 7 July

North

  • 11 AM – NAIDOC Street march! All are welcome. Departing TAC Launceston, 182 Charles St, marching to Civic Square.
  • 6 PM – 2023 NAIDOC BALL Aboriginal community & families At the Tramsheds, Inveresk, Launceston.

Saturday, 8 July

South

  • 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM – Voice, Treaty, Truth Telling Panel at Theatre Royal, Nipaluna. Visit the Theatre Royal website (external link) for details.
