The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) is seeking suitably qualified Registered Nurses (RN) and Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHP) to join our Aboriginal Health Service across multiple locations in Lutruwita/Tasmania.
These positions are part of a multidisciplinary Aboriginal Primary Health Care team, delivering comprehensive, culturally safe, and community-controlled health services that improve outcomes for Aboriginal people, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care within an Aboriginal Primary Health Care setting
- Support health promotion, prevention, and early intervention programs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to address complex health needs
- Contribute to culturally safe, strengths-based, and holistic models of care
About You
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner
- Demonstrated understanding of the social, cultural, and historical factors impacting Aboriginal health
- Experience in General Practice and/or mental health (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to culturally safe, community-controlled health care
