As a community-controlled RTO, we prioritise delivering nationally accredited training in a culturally safe environment.
Our training approach focuses on respecting and including Aboriginal cultures. We aim to create a supportive learning environment that values First Nation traditions and beliefs. Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of Aboriginal learners, including their emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual well-being. We are committed to providing high-quality training that helps Aboriginal individuals succeed in their chosen fields while honuoring their cultural heritage.
Training Programs
Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health workers in a diversity of locations including urban, rural and remote settings. It is specific to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in a range of health care settings including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community organisations, and the public or private health sector.
Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
This qualification reflects the role of entry level workers who provide services and interventions to clients with alcohol and other drugs issues and/or implement health promotion and community interventions. Work in undertaken in contexts such as community-based organisations, withdrawal services, residential rehabilitation services and outreach services under the guidance of other practitioners and professionals, with limited responsibility and within established parameters.
